Scotland Yard Web Edition Update

 

Update your existing version of Scotland Yard Web Edition

The Scotland Yard Web Edition download is free downlaod for registered users of the Web Edition.

This update will update the Web Edition Client. The SQL Database and Web Services were not updated in this version update.

The syWebClient.zip file consists of just two files: scotlandyard.html and scotlandyard.swf.
Unzip the syWebClient.zip file over the current location of where the scotlandyard.html is located on the server.

It is recommended you make a backup of the Scotland Yard folder prior to applying the update.

Fixed Employee Directory current filter issue. If a filter is applied and any user's status is updated, the status board resets to all users when it does the refresh.
Fixed Employee Directory column sorts on "Last Name, First Name", "First Name Last Name", "Expected Return Date", "Updated Date" columns.
Fixed extra browser window opening when sending email. Using Windows and IE an extra IE Browser window would be displayed.
Redesigned main menu to allow Scotland Yard to fit in small screen resolutions.
Redesigned Employee Directory to fit in small screen resolutions.
Added Employee Directory "My Watch List". Allow user's to create their own list/group of employees.
NOTE: Watch Lists are stored on local pc for each user.
Employee Directory will remember if the Employee Panel was last displayed or not displayed.
Fixed Employee Directory current filter issue. The defect was if a filter is applied and then any user's status is updated the status board resets to all users when it does the refresh. It did not retain the filter.
Sign In/Out change for Status Codes with expected return dates set to "tomorrow". If tomorrow lands on a Saturday, Monday will be automatically calculated.
The user can still override the expected date if needed.
Sign In/Out change: when a status is selected which is denoted as "In", the Expected Return Date and Expected Return Time fields are no longer displayed.
