BetterBet is a personal casino session tracker. Your data stays on your device. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data.
Who we are
BetterBet is published by SY Software, an independent app studio founded by Scott Yale. For questions, contact support@sysoftware.com.
Information we collect
- Session data you enter locally on your device — casino locations, game names, win/loss amounts, notes
- Diagnostics automatically collected by Apple (crash logs), if you have sharing enabled in iOS settings
- Anonymous, aggregated gameplay signals (e.g. game heat scores) if you opt in to Community Insights — no dollar amounts, session details, or personally identifiable information is ever transmitted
App permissions
- Camera and Photo Library — only when you attach photos to sessions or games
- Notifications — only if you enable session reminders in Settings
No other device permissions are required.
How we use information
- All session data, game history, and notes you add stay on your device
- If you opt in to Community Insights, only anonymous aggregate signals are shared — never your personal session data or identity
- Diagnostic information, if shared with Apple, may be used to improve app performance and fix issues
Sharing
BetterBet does not sell, rent, or share your personal data. No third-party advertising libraries are used in this app.
Data retention & deletion
All data is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app deletes all associated data. You may also remove individual sessions or games at any time within the app.
Responsible gambling

Children
BetterBet is not directed to children under 17. The app is intended for adult casino patrons only.
Your rights
If you are located in California, the EEA, or the UK, you may have additional rights such as access, correction, or deletion of your data. Since BetterBet stores data only on your device, you can exercise these rights by editing or deleting entries directly in the app, or by deleting the app entirely.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. If significant changes are made, the effective date at the top will be updated.
