Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 3, 2026
Pickle Me Happy is a personal pickleball scoring and session tracking app. It does not sell your information and does not use third-party advertising trackers.
Who we are
Pickle Me Happy is published by SY Software, an independent app studio founded by Scott Yale. For privacy questions, contact support@sysoftware.com.
What Pickle Me Happy does
Pickle Me Happy helps you score pickleball games, track match-day sessions, review history and insights, display Home Screen widgets, and optionally use Apple Watch and Apple Health-related workout data for on-court tracking.
Information you provide or create
- Pickleball session records, game scores, wins, losses, ties, points for, and points against
- Session dates, game durations, timer alerts, history entries, and insight summaries
- Settings, onboarding state, widget preferences, and display preferences
- Optional voice input you choose to provide when recording scores by microphone or speech features
- Feedback or support messages you send to SY Software
Apple Health and workout data
If you grant permission, Pickle Me Happy may read or write Health-related workout information to support app features. This may include pickleball workouts, workout duration, steps, active energy, heart rate, distance or court miles, and related workout summaries.
Health data is used only to provide features you request, such as showing session context, Apple Watch workout stats, and widget or insight summaries. Pickle Me Happy does not sell Health data, use Health data for advertising, or share Health data with data brokers.
You can manage Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings.
Apple Watch and device sync
If you use Pickle Me Happy on Apple Watch, session state, score changes, timers, and workout summaries may sync between your Apple Watch and iPhone so the app can keep your game record consistent across devices.
Microphone and speech features
If you choose to record scores by voice, Pickle Me Happy may request access to your microphone or speech recognition. Voice input is used to interpret the score or command you provide. You can choose not to use voice features and can manage microphone and speech permissions in iOS Settings.
Widgets
Home Screen widgets may display summaries such as monthly or year-to-date sessions, time played, court miles, average heart rate, or related pickleball progress. Widget data is generated from your app data and optional Health-related workout data when permitted.
Storage and retention
Pickleball sessions, scores, settings, history, insights, widget summaries, and cached workout summaries may be stored locally on your device. Deleting the app generally deletes local app data stored with it. Some Apple-managed data, such as Health records or backups, may be controlled through Apple's settings and privacy tools.
Third-party services
Pickle Me Happy may use Apple services for App Store distribution, Apple Watch functionality, HealthKit, widgets, speech recognition, iCloud or device backup if enabled by your device settings, and crash diagnostics if you choose to share diagnostics with app developers.
SY Software does not use third-party advertising SDKs in Pickle Me Happy.
In-app purchases
If Pickle Me Happy offers paid features, purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. SY Software does not receive your payment card details. The app may store purchase entitlement status on your device so it can unlock purchased features.

Your choices
- You can edit or delete session and game records in the app where supported.

- You can manage Health, microphone, speech recognition, and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
- You can disable crash analytics sharing in iOS settings if you do not want Apple to share diagnostics with developers.
- You can contact support@sysoftware.com with privacy questions.
Accuracy and limitations
Scores, session history, workout summaries, Health-related metrics, and widget values may depend on device sensors, Apple Health data availability, user-entered scores, Apple Watch connectivity, and app permissions. Review important records before relying on them.
